Designer Watch- Cristina Vitiello

The majority of the time we spend growing up we ask ourselves, “What is it that I want to do with my life?†When we are able to finally answer that question it is the sweetest satisfaction. For some it takes years after high school to finally answer that question, but for Cristina Vitiello she knew exactly what she wanted while she was still a student at Boston College.
As a hobby Cristina designed and made jewelry. In 2005 she started her company “Cristina V†and began selling her jewelry creations. By the time she graduated college in 2007, Cristina had a website, logo and packaging, and continued to expand her business each year thereafter by investing in finer materials, obtaining in-house public relations, and more staff for her company.
Since beginning her company in 2005 Cristina has been picked by Henry Bendel for monthly trunk shows, given a showcase at Bloomingdales, and has launched a new website featuring more focused and steamlined collections. The Cristina V collection has been featured on “Gossip Girl†and “Dinner with Rocco†and has also been seen on numerous news anchors and celebrities.
When asked what inspires her the most, Cristina answers, “My customers- from the smile on their face to the excitement of custom designs, they are constantly pushing me forward.” Cristina V seeks to add personality to the everyday by combining the trendy with the traditional. The collection is described as being eclectic and whimsical and everything is made in New York City which positively contributes to the local economy.
Items in the collection include necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings for women and cuff links for men. Prices range from $50.00 to $500 and will go up to $3,000 in her newest collection “Transitions by Cristina V.â€
Cristina V. pieces are available for purchase online and in high-end boutiques across the country. To learn more about Cristina V and to shop the collection please visit www.cristinav.com and like her page on Facebook!
