Made in America

5 years ago the idea of making it this far was so farfetched. In fact, most people didn’t even think I would be able to attend college, because we couldn’t afford it. I moved to LA with $200.00 to my name with a dream. The crazy part is that when I was about to move to LA everyone would laugh when I would tell them what I was going to do/accomplish. I guess they all thought I was crazy to think I would make it in LA. The funny thing is I thought they were the crazy ones to not believe me.
1. I never doubted myself. I always knew I would be big. Like I said, I come from nothing. So anything I accomplish at this point is a blessing. So in a weird way, I already feel like a millionaire.
2. Fearless. I’m never worried about the outcome of my ventures. I know if I focus 100% of my energy into what I want to happen it will happen one way or the other. I move like water, I always find a way around things that are in my way. It’s good to have that positive mentality when going into things.
3. Make yourself uncomfortable. If you always stay in your comfort zone you will never grow as a person. Find ways daily to put yourself in scenarios you try to avoid. Â It’s amazing what you will find/get inspired on the other side of the door.
4. Work. I’ve always told people I’m super not talented. I feel like the only thing that has made me who I am today is my work ethic. I dedicated 100% of my time to getting better or working on my craft. There is so many people out there who can beat me at all my crafts, but nobody can beat me at being me. Once you find out what makes you different you capitalize on that.
5. sacrifice. You have to able at any moment to sacrifice what we are for what we could become.

“Nobody can beat me at being me.” You got that right!
