We all saw the ads, the hype was unbelievable. I wanted some Missoni, and everyone else did too.  Within hours of the launch the Target site crashed, and excited shoppers were put on a hold for the items they were lusting after. Luckily I used a different browser and was able to get shopping faster than the Internet Explorer browser.

The stores were swamped, and everything was sold out in record timing.

I didn’t get everything I wanted (I live in Canada, so my Uncle is my “mailman” since he lives in the states), but I DID get two dresses I wanted the most.

Unfortunately, the eBay sellers went crazy and within hours there was Missoni for Target items for sale for more than 10 times the price that it retailed for. I guess if you missed out you can now find the items on eBay.  The most popular (and expensive) items for sale on eBay are: The bike, bed sets, cups, throw and luggage.

New Yorkers were quite blessed as there was a special “Missoni for Target” launch party and store!
