I decided to start posting tips more often on Fashion Munster. I’ve gained so much experience in such a short time and it’s something I’d love to share. So today’s tip is going to be on branding. This can go for any kind of business, not just blogging, but today my branding is focused on blogging. Regardless if you have one million followers or just one you need to focus on what you’re good at and keep that as your focal point. The most important thing is to differentiate yourself from other blogs, websites or products. What makes you special? Anyone can post their outfit looks, be a good writer or whatever, but what makes it different? Everyday I come across hundreds of blogs, but don’t actually see anything special and/or diffrent then what others have already done. My tip….is to challenge the status quo.

When starting fashion munster I was so sick of seeing all the same sites on peoples outfits or street blogs, I thought…I need to create my own image in the industry. I started the fashion munster pose. Then I went out and got the biggest blogger in the industry to follow me (Bryan Boy)…few weeks later I got the biggest in the T.V. industry (Kim Kardashian). Because I was a start up blog, I needed an amazing branding campaign to get followers. Especially to get followers to believe in me like I believed in myself. If I wanted to make history I had to do something nobody has done before. I went straight to the biggest kid in the school yard and punched him in the face.
