Betsey Johnson & Yoplait

The event began with a grand entrance by Betsey where she and five oh her models arrived in a glass bus wrapped in Yoplait <3’s Betsey Johnson imagery with flashing pink lights and music—much like a retail store window, Betsey and her models posed, clad in pink of course, as mannequins and slowly come to life one by one to enter the event via pink carpet.
Betsey is a breast cancer survivor and the October 1 event was committed to women’s health and served as Betsey’s formal kick off for breast cancer awareness month. Betsey spoke candidly about her own tie to this important cause as well as Yoplait’s commitment: Yoplait has donated more than $30 million to the breast cancer cause through Save Lids to Save Lives®  and related donation initiatives over the past 13 years.
Betsey also announced her partnership with the “Yoplait Loves New York Women†campaign aimed at celebrating the inherent style and substance of women in the city. Through its involvement in Fashion’s Night Out, Betsey Johnson’s event this Saturday, and the launch of sampling efforts throughout the city which begin tomorrow, and include New York Fashion students seeking out women of style and substance on the streets of NYC and rewarding them with a free yogurt, Yoplait is celebrating and reward New York women by giving out an estimated 50,000 free cups of Yoplait Original yogurt.
